I know this is another insect from me, but this moth has been a real BUG-BEAR for the past 4 weeks, I hope you're ready for a story.
I can know tell you all about it now that my neighbours have returned from a long holiday. Their car was on our shared drive and after a few days the alarm system was going off, why was unknown so I contacted one of the sons. To keep it short we wondered if spider and cobwebs on the outside was setting it off.
Although to the amusement of other neighbours I went out with my feather duster each evening and wiped over the car. I now had the keys so opened and closed the doors several times but the problem prevailed and I slept with the keys next to my bed.
This past week has been bad, 5 times Tuesday night and 3 times Wednesday night so it was suggested I try dusting the inside the car. I then spotted this moth on the back seat which must have been flying around inside at night setting off the alarms. It had died but I can assure you that Moth-Balls might have come in fashion. Yes the first thing I did when my lovely neighbours arrived home today was to plant the car keys in their hands.
View with the dark surround and thanks for reading.
LOL - well, mystery solved, but only after much lack of sleep on your part and (sadly) death on the part of the moth! Hope your neighbors appreciate your "car" sitting for them! Really enjoyed the story and the capture is a bit scary, which I like!
You must be tired! You have my sympathies. I'm tired too through disturbed nights but through many cries of mummy from a poorly bed. Rest up we'll now!
