I still haven't been out with this heavy cold and cough so here is one I took the other day. This building is quite close to my home, in fact I pass it most days. The part on the right used to be the village forge but has now been brought back to life for new activities.
It is in fact the local Scout Hut with all the new bits added in 1989, there is a plaque right in the center. Not only is this the scout headquarters the village hall but it is used for many other purposes. I once came here to meet up with my late Sister Mo who was with her scrap-booking group. Thank you for all your kind words, as I said it's just a bad cold and a chesty cough, I couldn't get any volunteer to come and rub some menthol lubrication onto my chest.
Nicely captured and an interesting history. If that ladder is the only way in, I would have to stay outside! Continue to take care of that cold - hope it will be gone soon!

Pretty good add on to an old building! I too would prefer a door like @linnypinny , but maybe could manage to climb in after all my rock climbing chasing boys for a photo yesterday - they wouldn't stay still for a shot :) Hope the cold is slowly getting better :)
Aren't there ordinances that require repairs to build over a certain age to have the facades remain true to the original building?
