I was up on the hillsides hoping for a lovely view when suddenly someone light a bonfire down in the valley. Rather than discard the photograph I thought it was quite interesting and shows how the smoke slowly drifts away.
I'm not sure about other countries, but there are rules around lighting bonfires in the UK. They have caused many disputes from neighbours as the smoke and debris blow across adjoining homes, perhaps the washing's out or the neighbour has health problems.
So as it's Sunday we can accept a bonfire as long as your not burning household waste or lighting it near a roadside which is dangerous. I'll stick to a camp fire where I can cook my sausages. View with the dark surround if you have time
Thank you for all your comments and FAV's recently.
Interesting shot. Good job it didn't get out of control with all those trees. We have rules here too, but unfortunately we get quite a lot of lunatics who light fires deliberately and cause serious bushfires.
It does add an air of mystery.
