My fifth addition to the week long nature challenge and today I have combined it to a song. This is the beautiful lilac bush in my neighbours garden and it gives us all this lovely display every Spring.
It doesn't last long but it is stunning in full bloom, well at least hundreds of bees love it. It was also popular with songs written about it. Here is one version by Frank Sinatra who was "Gathering Lilac in the Spring":
I've concentrated on plants so far in this challenge, so I might change to animals or birds for the last twp pictures, view this one with the dark surround if you can. Thank you all for all your lovely comments and FAV's on my Sisters lovely garden arch.
this bush sure does have a beautiful display! wow! you are indeed lucky Heather, to have this so close. Why not try to capture some of the bees - they are animals.
