Auntie Maggie comes for Breakfast. by ladymagpie

Auntie Maggie comes for Breakfast.

To celebrate the last day of my nature challenge, thank you Lin, I invited Auntie Maggie for morning breakfast. This is my new bird table I made up from a patio slab and an old water trough, the big birds seem to like it and lets hope they leave the main feeders alone.

Auntie Maggie sits on the roof of the cottage opposite each morning waiting for me to put out bacon fat and peanuts, I also tip the unused seed from the other feeders and it's all devoured during the day.

As you can see Auntie Maggie has a rather large claws in her breakfast contract so I don't think I will be arguing with her. Thank you for all for your comments and FAV's over the past week, best viewed with the dark surround.

One for Lady Magpie's family album.

Your magpies look much nicer than our ones who fly down and try and peck the back of your head! One for the "Maggies"!
