A Mighty Tree from my Past

From 1951 to 1962 I lived on this estate and this great tree is a big part of my life. As very small children we used to meet up here and played games around it.

Hide and Seek, cricket and football took place around this tree, and I'm so pleased to see it still thriving 60 years on. If you look closely there are today's children playing on it.

Give that tree a hug from me.
