No Paddling Today

A very quick one today as I must get ready for Santa to come down the chimney tomorrow. Unfortunately I haven't got a chimney so I will have to leave a window open so he can get in. I always used to leave a mince pie, a glass of wine and a bucket of water for the reindeer when my children were young, the mince pie and the wine was no problem, but drinking a full bucket of water I found quite difficult.

We visit the village of Frampton-on-Severn for today's capture, famous for having the longest village green in the UK. This pond is on the green and as you can see was very popular for a paddle by some families in wonderful outfits.

Today I don't think I would even dip my toe into the pond with the amount of weeds and wildlife in there. In fact there were a couple of boys fishing and collecting tadpoles in buckets.

The village shop and cottages are still there and there is a cricket pitch just behind where I was stood.

Have a lovely Christmas Day and remember to keep smiling.
l love your before and afters. So cool to see the changes.

Hasn’t changed much Heather, looks a delightful place! Don’t drink any buckets of water you will be up & down all night!!!

Merry Christmas Heather, we will be putting out wine and mince pies later. Santa will definitely need refreshments when he gets to us!

Merry Christmas🎄🎅
Maybe the reindeer would prefer a glass of whiskey :)

@yoland That's strange you should suggest whiskey, I'm just testing a glass of the stuff before leaving some out. Might be a bit strong for the reindeer.
