As I was leaving a local farm stand where I went to buy apples, I noticed this Burning Bush against the backdrop of the trees on the edge of a marsh. The Cape has a muted, but prolonged autumn show of colors. Some trees are entirely bare and others still have color.
Excellent name for this one! That shrub is so stunningly red. :-)I like all of this bare trees. How I missed them this summer (yeah, I know, not many people feel that way, but I do! :-) )
Funny that's an apple farm. That burning bush looks like an apple in the thumbnail of this shot. The bare trees make the bush really stand out. Great shot.
Wow, looks like I'm going to be in for a shock when I visit this weekend. We still have quite a few leaves here, but it looks like the Cape is mostly bare. I love how vibrant that burning bush is, especially against the stripped tree.
I love the natural soldiers of the earth (trees) and this is a lovely portrait of those brave chaps with a splash of color provided by the burning bush.. lovely Laurie!!!
