Ben Bullen Railway Station

Last catch up for the weekend....

On the drive home on Monday I spotted this old railway station at the last minute but it was too hard & dangerous to stop, especially towing a caravan......plus I was busting for the loo (lol), so we continued on about 10k's to the next town for a loo break, but I just had to go back to get a shot (or 2 ...or 20 :) - so glad that I did.

Moral of the story - always go back for THAT shot, no matter what :)

definitely worth the trip back, this is a great image, I love the railway line leading you into the distance, looks as if it goes on forever - probably does!!

Great lesson for me. The other is to keep at least some camera with me! Love these types of old shots of well used buildings!

@wag864 Thanks Kas - there was a road fruit stall just across the road, so the people stopping at that were wandering over for a look.
