Tomato harvest by leggzy

Tomato harvest

My very first harvest of little cherry tomatoes...all 10 of them (lol). All eaten in last nights salad, and they were very sweet & yummy. Feeling quite pleased with myself as every other year when I've planted tomatoes, they just seem to die. Maybe this years position where I planted it is the difference, and that they were cherry tomatoes?
Very impressive nothing beats the flavour of homegrown tomatoes

You have really captured these very well, the colours are bright and they look very fresh. Tomatoes grow as weeds here, from seeds that are spread in the compost we make from kitchen waste. Cherry tomatoes grow especially well, but I have never harvested any as fine as these.

Well done leggzy. They wouldn't last five minutes with my daughter. She loves cherry toms.

They look a very tasty crop. You have captured them well. Lovely to see fresh tomatoes as we are in the depth of winter!

How exciting. You did better than we did. Ours shriveled in the 40 degree heat last summer and we haven't tried growing them again since.

Well done! It's hard to grow thing. My husband and I had an allotment for a while and we loved it, but struggled to grow anything that tasted nice!

I am not a gardener but your theory sounds right to me. Soil and sun make a big difference. I like the way you've presented your harvest here- nice bold composition with bold colors as well. Good shot!
