The Foundation stone was laid on 26th January 1878, and the church was officially opened in February 1879 - this was the 2nd church built, with the original church being a wooden structure built in 1867....not sure what happened to the original one as I haven't been able to find out any info on it.
It was a bit difficult to shoot this one because it was so close to the fence line & road, plus so many trees around it blocking the view. #ithinkineedadrone
