Read a blog of a photographer I follow on water droplets so thought I'd give it a try. His set up was professional while mine was the hillbilly version.
Went and visited Mom early before the weather hit last night. She made corn beef and potatoes for lunch . Yum and I still need the get to the grocery store to buy mine for Monday. Posting a day late because the world ended last night at 9. The temps plummeted and the STRONG winds HOWLED. At 9 total darkness happened so I ran for my flashlight. Yep the whole street went black so after alerting the power company with our cell phone we went to bed.
Morning brought daylight and power. Alls good in my world.
This is terrific for your "hillbilly" version. The spots, which I'm guessing are reflections give it terrific interest. You captured the rings from the drop nicely.
@grammyn don't I live in a rose colored world where when I lose power the world ends ... Hope it stays that way, things can change in the blink of an eye and I am thankful for every day.
@lesip So glad you shared this Leslie. When I am more awake, tomorrow I will have to see how to do this. Meantime he has a super cool blog. I have a blog I have neglected. Time has not been on my side. It is fun to try new things and you did great on this one. Thank you for sharing.

I really like the white dot effect in your ripples! they create so much more interest than a plain ripple shot!
