Another shot from yesterdays Raptor event . This little guy came to the rescue with a hurt wing. He can no longer fly well enough to be released back in the wild. He seems to lead a pretty cushy life now protected and cared for at least I hope that's how he feels.
Wonderful picture of this beautiful creature. There's such incredible focus and clarity on the bird. He stands out so sharply against the grey sky, making his features all the more pronounced. The intensity of that eye is almost frightening!
