Natures Mirror

Black Hill Park is having it's Native Plant Sale this weekend and I stopped by around 6pm to pick up some milkweed plants. Crossing fingers for some more Monarch butterflies this summer. I stopped by the boat launch area and enjoyed a little wildlife watching before heading home. Sadly I was told the park is now oiling geese eggs so maybe that's why I'm not seeing any goslings :-( This cormorant sat on the branch for the hour I spent there and was still sitting as I waved goodbye.

Enjoy Your Weekend
The nice thing about cormorants is that they are not jittery.

Sad about the goslings. A fantastic photo and reflection of this cormorant though.

Looks like he’s admiring himself in the reflection

It does look like he's looking at himself in a mirror. Good storytelling shot.
