Well, we finally started to tackle the wooden 3D puzzle that I posted a couple days ago. First I organized all the pieces according to the instructions probably an hour. At that point Bob came over to help. Instructions said DO NOT glue till you know the parts are right and positioned in the correct place. That turned out to be great advise but the problem with that is things kept falling to pieces. I solved that problem using tiny pieces of napkin when the pieces fit together too loosely . Bob started working on a reindeer while I tackled Santa and his bag. The instructions were like trying to put together something from Ikea but worse and Bob finally said UNCLE I need a break. I'm a very stubborn person and sat there for probably an hour and a half struggling with the deer but finally figuring it out. Bob came over and saw that I figured it out and said boy you have patience. You need patience as a photographer I think. I walked away for awhile and at 12:30pm made the second reindeer in 30 minutes. Now only six more reindeer to go.
i'd have burned the whole thing after half an hour, 45 minutes max! i'm not a puzzle person, my life's a puzzle enough for me. hahaha! merry Christmas, les, and all the best for 2019!
I can only imagine how much of a struggle it is but Im am thinking "stubborn" might be a part of your "patience"! At any rate I am glad you stuck to it! What a wonderful beginning you have to the puzzle for this terrific shot
