We planned ahead and purchased tickets months ago to walk to her crown. I had two friends up to the challenge and willing to get up early and take the first boat over to her island. I haven't done this in probably 25 years when the boys were little. I did question myself whether I could still do it and I'm happy to say we all made it .
@pamdavis2015 when you do and if you want to go to the crown book online real early ( months if you can) because the spots to go up fill up real fast. Tip two is if you are an early riser book at 9am (first boat of the day) probably the less crowded of the whole day. FYI While making up to the crown it is very small and has a few small windows not a very photographic spot in my opinion but you can say you did it :-) The platform is a very photogenic spot, where you go out and can walk all the way around her. I hope you one day get to see her up close and personal.
