O Christmas Tree O Christmas Trees

The weather was wonderful for a trip to see the National Christmas Tree and the State trees that surround it. I also got the Capitol Tree so I'll probably post that one tomorrow. My girlfriend Rebecca put her small purse in her camera bag when we started our night around D.C. and when she put her camera back in the camera bag and took her purse out she ended up leaving her purse on the metro seat. We changed trains before she realized what she did. Now the fun begins replacing drivers license , medical cards and she's already put a hold on her credit card. The only good thing was no one had used it yet. She will fill out a lost and found report but doesn't have high hopes of getting it back.
Stunning capture.

Fav. Very nice detail in your photo. Nice composition, too. Sorry to hear about your friends trouble. Quite a drag.

Quite delightful. Sorry about your friend - a stressful thing to happen at this time of year in particular.

This is a terrific viewpoint of a lovely scene--well worth the trip! So sorry to hear about the purse. Hopefully it was found by an honest person. I know if I found it I would do the right thing.

How sad to put such a bad ending do you want must’ve been an otherwise wonderful evening! I hope all turns out well for her.

This is a beautiful photograph of that huge tree surrounded by those smaller trees. I like the lights on the building in the background lit up so nicely.

Great night scene and you now have a record of the flag at half mast for George HW Bush.

@lesip LOL! Sure enough! I’m not sure why I didn’t know that. Old age and stupidity I guess! Thanks for clarifying LOL
