Unfortunately the otters didn't put in an appearance today but the big lens was used for this Curlew on the Hoswick beach. The Curlews seem to have had a good breeding year in Shetland. Hopefully bird flu will pass them by although I see today that bird flu has been detected in porpoises in Sweden.
