I've always wanted to try to capture snowflakes, and wasn't quite sure if my camera had the capability-it seems to do just fine, and since we are expecting a blizzard in these parts, I will have more opportunities to improve
This is very cool (pun intended)! I'm hoping to capture some snowflake shots too. Another person I'm friends with on here puts a cobalt blue plate in the freezer and then catches the flakes to photography. The plate is cold enough that the snowflakes last long enough for the shot. I thought that was clever.
