This heron seemed to be practicing the power of positive thinking. All of the dirt area is normally underwater - it’s quite a large stormwater retention pond and popular with geese and ducks. It gradually disappeared during this summer’s drought. The heron is determined though. He’s going to fish until the final drop is gone.
