I have two large pots of Coleus on my patio, they love the hot sun but they also love their showers. They are showy plants and easy to grow, these are very tall plants, they come in many colorations and sizes for any landscape application.
Their textural surfaces are so gorgeous! If I wasn't gone so much (from one place OR the other, I'd have a lot more plants to fuss over! This is lovely!
Very nice. I was just thinking of these the other day and wondering if deer like them. Around here they seem to eat everything- even the stuff they're not supposed to like!
Thank you all for your great comments and favs. Coleus are pretty hardy but they sure get thirsty, you have to give them water pretty much every day during the summer. Well, during Texas summers anyway. You put this beauty on the PP! Thank you! @olivetreeann Well, I don't know about deer but they seem pretty insect tolerant, I don't see bites out of the leaves. @Weezilou these are not high maintenance but from all I've seen you have lovely plants at both of your houses!
