I've heard of white-gold... but a white goldfinch????

Thanks everybody. Across a couple of sites the consensus seems to be non breeding, but split between male or female. I’ve appreciated the feedback from folk, and shrill excited to catch photos of this bird…. Even though it doesn’t seem to be especially unique!
