watercolours

I was practicing with layers here again, and duplicated a shot of three watercolour pencils to create some reflective patterns.

I was thinking about water, because tonight I spent a good while attempting to capture a water crown as described in the tutorial by @michelleyoung at http://365project.org/discuss/tips-n-tricks/7780/water-crowns-tips-and-tricks.

I managed to capture some drops and ripples ....and the smallest, flattest, wobbliest crown ever - and that was not even in focus :D
Michelle makes it look soooo straightforward...
Super shot, wonderful composition and colors.

This is funky but I don't think I would have put the border around the photo, not all three colours anyway. :)

you are so clever and creative - too scared to use photoshop - seems complicated

@mortisa - Thankyou Jane. I find processing really interesting - and a huge challenge! I started 365 to use more functions on my camera, and to try & experience as many photographic & processing styles possible. http://365project.org/ltodd/extras/2011-08-15 is the most complex processing challenge so far, although I learnt a lot from trying this one too. Even the ideas that don't really work out in the end, teach me something about photography or processing, so I am happy to post them for that reason.
