Native Australian spider orchids are quite an unusual shape as well as a challenge to photograph. I thought I needed to include the full shape and a close up so people could see the delicate structure of these beautiful flowers that are only about 2 cm wide.
This was taken in Kings Park In Perth, Western Australia, last week, but it took me until yesterday to identify it (hopefully).
(Sorry it is another native Australian flower folks, I find them fascinating)
@denisedaly@collagemama@dell365@aspada thankyou ladies.I would have been happier with more light, but I have since tried my speedlight with the macro lens, & I was suprised it works well enough, so I have another "lesson learnt" (learnt the hard way, as usual !! )
