Several frustrations at work this week that are totally draining any photographic creative interest or inspiration, which I know is normal for most people on 365 at one time or another.
What has been interesting to discover however is that now, 9 months in to this project, I feel almost uncomfortable taking a quick 'nice' or 'safe' shot solely to fill in my 365 calendar.
I have diligently photographed as many of the subjects and styles on my 365 'bucket list' during the last 9 months as possible. I have worked through the list and 'come out the other side', concluding that I have no discernible photographic 'style' at the moment. If it develops that is a good thing, but no point dwelling or trying to force it.
So what about this shot? With only the interest and energy to take a single shot for the day, this was all I had. Here is the end result - an xray of a colleague's thumb, inverted and with some 'comic book' filters and blends applied in processing. Not what is 'expected' perhaps, but part of my journey.
So creative and great processing!!

Very creative! I find it endlessly fascinating what we can do to images to create something personal.

I absolutely agree with your words - I have struggled with posting something 'just because' and also have tried numerous styles and subjects. It's really comforting to see you have similar feelings about your work, as I do about mine.

@deens I think I now understand why it takes so long to train the 'eye' and to learn to take those 'mature' shots we strive for. I have also been reading 'Home Photography' by Andrew Sanderson, who has a great way of explaining the philosophy and 'heart' of fine art photography. Have a look at his shots at http://www.andrewsanderson.com/categories.php?category=2

Great processing Lyn and well done for creating something even though you didn't feel like being creative.
