The conference dinner was tonight - a formal affair with over 2,100 people attending!!
The entertainment was provided by Jon Stevens, a NZ singer who fronted the Australian rock band INXS after the death of its lead singer Michael Hutchence. He knew exactly where the professional photographers were - and definitely made sure he was photographed well - by them!
It was not that easy getting the correct exposure as I was shooting into the stage lights, and I decided that while photographing people on stage was an interesting exercise, I was far too polite to join the paparazzi - the pushing and jostling for position was incredible. :)
