Punakha monk

Back to Punakha Dzong festival this afternoon and I am finally feeling more comfortable in such strange surroundings.
The dzongs are built following traditional methods - and there is not a nail in sight! There is a lot of symbolism I am starting to recognise ( but not understand!) and I think that the motif on this, and most of the doors in the dzong is the lotus flower

...and yes, the monk in the background is texting on a very non-medieval smart phone!
Can't see that background monk but really whats different in this world! I do like the light you have achieved in this flowing robe and his friendly face!
