Newly renovated Winetasting terrace.

at Blaauwklippen wine estate.
Everything is crisp and new, I see from your tags that it was prettier before the renovation, oh dear.

What a delightful spot. Interestingly enough we have 2 South African winemakers producing such good wines at a few wineries where we live. One in particular has planted pinotage and introduced this delight to our area. :)

Lovely sunny spot for a break.

Looks wonderful
November 25th, 2020
It seems like you guys are wino's :)
November 25th, 2020
The grounds and tasting areas are empty. Are the wineries open for business or did you beam everyone away for your shot?

LOL at what Peter said! You can't be a wino and take great pics like this. =)

Looks pristine. Great pic to show it off. You are likely not the only one missing the old charm.

Beautiful shot. Love the pov. It looks so bright and airy and outdoors, so that must make it safer for visiting during the pandemic.
November 25th, 2020
wow! That is very modern! They are loosing the historical traditional touch and becoming commercial

Super dappled light and inviting terrace
November 25th, 2020
Oh, you can just drop me off and pick me up hours later.

what a beautiful place, very relaxing, quiet and surrounded by greenery, I would gladly have a good glass of wine
November 25th, 2020
I like how the terrace has been built right around that massive tree.
November 25th, 2020
While it looks nice, I don't find it as inviting as some of the others. Still a good shot though!
November 25th, 2020
Lets have a taste. Lovely place to do this here.

Very nice

@wakelys No Unfortunately not as I was not expecting this. It was just seating under these gorgeous old oak trees. It certainly has lost it's charm now. Stellenbosch is known as the oak tree town, as the major roads are lined with oak planted hundreds of years ago.

@k9photo They are all open Kate. I think many are either not aware that the renovations are over, or they just do not like the sterile atmosphere now ;-)

@robz That sounds wonderful Rob, Pinotage is a great SA blend..
