The noise of the waves in this small geological basin! It was in Punukaiki on the West Coast of NZ where there are pancake rocks - not with maple syrup, mind you! The name gives an idea of their geological structure and so I've heard the experts still don't know why!
Three good things:
1. I thought we had finally got somewhere we had good internet connections but this is the 4th time I have typed this!
2. It rained and rained and rained but we were under a roof that did not leak!
3. Although I have not been able to enjoy all my 365 friends postings, I have enjoyed what they have had to say on my photos!
Great image and I totally relate to your limited Internet access. The one-way 365 conversations are not all that rewarding. Nice to share your captures and read the comments.
The colour in those rocks is so beautiful & really pops out at you...i have heard the West Coast catches a lot of rain but all that water makes for great water features!! Will look where you are on the map afterwards!
