In the Nelson Lakes area. The net connection is so tenuous I can only type one sentence at a time! We arrived here after a long rainy drive from Cape Foulwind (love that name)! The lake was still but we couldn't see the high mountains on either side. Gradually being able to explain more....., If I keep trying for the next 3 hours, I might be able to get my three good things in!
Three good things:
1. I have plenty of time and will not let poor net connection beat me!
2. I counted 28 sandfly bites on just one foot but found hot chilli sauce works a treat- applied topically!
3. Making a movie of our travels to send to overseas family but running out of time for postage now!
Oh Fave Fave for me ...just stunning maggiemae......that silky water & the misty mountains....I am still commenting so still haven't looked where you are yet! ...You are on the East side now....quite a journey then!
@maggiemae It looks beautiful Our trip to South Island in February is off now....Alex is driving down to Lincoln with her friend who is also on placement ten minutes away...am rather disappointed !
beautiful and fav...love the dreamy look of it....thanks for your 3 things....I think of them all the time and then some of my own....you;ve inspired me to think more about beauty.
Beautiful pov, and the calmness of the water is so peaceful. I find that very hot water, as hot as one can stand it, takes the itch out of mosquito bites; apparently the heat destroys the enzymes which cause the itching. Wonder if the hot sauce does something similar? I know it's a different kind of heat.
this is such a serene view, i could almost jump in to the screen and be there. the colours are so calming. the chili sauce should kill the itch and prevent infection.
Beautiful Maggie. I have one that looks like it might be taken at the same spot, but without the low lying clouds. I will have a look for it tomorrow and put it on Facebook.
Love the calm
(Afraid care duties have meant photography put on hold at the moment)
