Hedging again by maggiemae

Hedging again

Hedges are a way of life here in the South but take years to grow. This is another heritage home in Oamaru but renovated and is now luxury class! The hedge runs way along to the left before this opening.

Three good things:
1. Llindt chocolate.
2. Pruned our grapevine, the trellis roses and pulled out all the dead corn plants who had dug their roots into the earth so strongly that caution advised, look after the back!
3.Got an email back after a while from a geologist after my questions about the North Otago cliffs and its layers! Volcanoes - 30 million years ago! (not the email but the land structure)
Love the way you've caught the light on this house. Definitely in the luxury category. Must look back at your cliffs to see the layering again

@beryl I'm always a bit nervous taking pictures of properties that people might think I'm taking a photo with a view for breaking in! Perhaps I look innocent enough but I could be a thug's girlfriend! (apologies to John)!
