You would think there was lots of photo opportunities in a show event like the Big Boy’s Toys but I didn’t want to capture just anything. There was the young boy on a very small motorbike. There were young boys (once more boys) jumping off high platforms, wanting to ride real motorbikes, buy drones, play games! Where were the young girls? No Barbies here!
This was a llamborghini that was worth over $700,000! I gave it a boost here.
Great on the black!
Three good things:
1.We met the All Black Game on TV several times this day - 1st in our motel unit, 2nd in the Retirement Home where the residents were shrieking (but not dancing) and again in the Big Tent at the Showgrounds over loudspeakers!
2. Music - but the right music!
3. The Chief of the Indian tribe - motorbikes - started up the motorbike that they had constructed for an auction later in Nov for charity. It crackled, roared and blasted out with a huge blatt, and brought lots of interested onlookers. However he got told off by one of the organisers, not allowed to start up in the event! Amusingly enough he did it once more and got told off again!…. Naughty! I loved the sound and recorded it on my camera. It's on uTube!
You have to be very agile to get in and out of this one! Especially if you want to look elegant. I would probably land up closing the door on myself.... :-)
Wow this is some machine.....very dramatic & out of this world machine. The show sounds great, I don't think we have anything like that here but it would be so popular! Not surprised you are seeing the rugby everywhere, so are we & it's not our team! There must be great celebration in NZ so make the most of it. I must find the noise on you tube. The chap sounds a bit of a rebel which is what all motorcyclists are at heart aren't they?
