Invercargill is a treasure at the bottom end of NZ with graceful and elegant houses surrounded by lush and beautiful gardens then there is the wild and wonderful look out to a Southern Ocean where the wind reigns as it did today! Venturing out of the car to take a photo, you have to hold on to something!
Three good things;
1. In between bouts of coughing and loud talking next door till 3am, I did sleep!
2. The Hill Climb down at Bluff the southern most point of the South Island was fantastic! Got a good panning shot as well as this one which was about a classic Velocette of the ’60’s waiting very noisily to take its turn up the mountain! John has a similar velocette but does not intend to partake of speed trials!
3. Great fun with a grandson who has a sense of humour and was quite shocked at what his step grandmother said but also couldn’t stop laughing!
Up in the night & just checking on PP saw this & new it was yours straight away! Must have missed it earlier! Fantastic detail here......you can see that the ruder is looking forward to the road ahead! No surprise at #3 GT you are a modern woman who loves life...these young ones think we know nothing sometimes!
haha, you did sleep but also know the coughing and loud talking. I have never been to Invercargill. You made it sounds very attractive and as windy as Wellington.
Love this shot,takes me back to my youth when motorbikes were a big part of it... A Norton 500 not a Velocette. Smiling sat your comment about your grandson
I love your #3! It's quite fun to let grandchildren know that just because you're old doesn't mean you can't have fun still!
nice pic!
It's great fun to let the young ones know we are still alive and enjoying life
