Back to normalcy! Just a memory - all that adulation and privileges. The BMC is over for a year.
Grandson is being delivered to Ocean Beach on the coast just south of Dunedin and we drove slowly along this seaside enjoying these views. I'm not sure if this is a woman or a man?
Three good things:
1. Not a good thing - another Chinese national in a car killed a motorbiker coming back from the BMC! He crossed the double yellow line to pass 4 cars! NZ has to improve somehow - this guy probably didn’t know what these lines mean!
2. Old TV programmes make me smile!
3. In the last 5 days, I didn’t change my outfit - on the outside that is!
The color in this is phenomenal. The entire scene is so restful and relaxing. Looks like a wonderful location to toss in that fishing line. The fisherpeople add a nice note to the scene.
A beautiful shot. The composition is so good, you look from the white sand back to more white sand and sea. The fishing people add to the scene. Fav. Sad news about the motorcyclist after such a great event.
@julzmaioro There always seems to be one fatality, Julia - I suppose there are literally thousands of bikers coming or going so thats probably not bad statistics - not good for the one person's family though!
Lovely white sand and sea. The fishermen ste the scene nicely. What a lovely place for someone to have their home, slightly hidden in the trees but o er looking this great beach. I love motorbikes but lost a few friends from them in my youth. People just don't look out for them, so sad
Such a glorious pics of coast line, your beaches sure are amazing! Fave as always. You must be glad to be home for a while now......traveling done for a bit hopefully! It's been fB fir us seeing all these beautiful places. Sad about that young man, I think I read somewhere thaypt there are quite a few fatalities among young foreign drivers on NZ roads. Electric bike time now!!
@happypat There are so many accidents caused by foreign drivers crossing over the centre line, Pat. Its a major problem. Some of these Chinese nationals have got their licence in China by just signing a bit of paper!
A truly beautiful beach scene! Lovely to catch after all your excitement. Something to be said for not seeing the same people to days in a row I guess, eh?!
Love that view and your shot, Maggiemae. Pity about the accident. Some three years ago I was hit by a car while I was crossing the road on a zebra crossing. Luckily I wasn't hurt. The driver said he had been distracted by somebody who he thought was going to cross a few metres away.
Lovely capture and it looks like they have one on the hook the way the rod is bending. Your 3 comment are both sad and funny, I change my underwear every month whether they need it or not (Wink).
A wonderful capture! Was this a drive by? Almost looks like they are on an island. And yes, I agree with Kim looks like "fish on"!! Always good to have clean undies!! hahahahaha!!!
