Back at home and appreciating all that that says,(comfy bed, easy kitchen, herbs in the garden etc), photo opportunities of course, didn’t offer any contribution to my day! This was taken on a short walk just round the corner from our home! We are lucky to be living in a town but still see the countryside so close.
Three good things:
1. It was warm and sunny in the morning - a good book plus coffee made it special.
Five hours later the temperature dropped 13degC 2. but we do have some firewood left out there in the woodshed!
3. We got two cases of wine delivered very early in the morning and our great courier driver did not ring the doorbell!
The best of both worlds them! I liked the heart of the countryside when I was younger but do like the convenience & community of the towns & villages when we get older. Considerate driver I say! Has the horse got his coat on because of the flies? A lovely country photo!
@skstein It looks as if this horse has got two blankets on! We have a horsey shop here which caters for amateur horse riders of which there are plenty!
