The Outlook is fine

Hearing about ice, snow and flooding all around the world, it is nice to look outside to a rural summer landscape! Across the roofs and cropping out the telephone wires, this lovely layered view became my photo opportunity late in the day!

Three good things:
1. The Edwardian dress I bought on Trademe for a party got sold on the same site for only $7 loss!
2. I climbed up on a stool and cleaned the high bathroom window shelf! Makes you feel pretty good - haven’t done this for a number of years!
3. The cat doesn’t like it when John’s on the phone - tapping his cheek, pushing against his chest, his knees and purring loudly!
That's a pretty good view.. great light..

Did you use a poster effect on it? I like whatever you did!

2 be careful while climbing but good to know I am not the only one who puts off difficult chores! Love you all the more for it!

A wonderful effect created here Maggiemae Love the layers of distinct colours and the great expanse of sky . Amazing how pets need attention when you are on the phone -- I suppose the cat can not understand why John speaks to a piece of plastic !! Be careful of these high places -- I am looking at a cobweb above a corner cupboard in the living room which my feather duster will not reach -- shall have to ask Gary to deal with it !!

@beryl It does look like a poster effect but I didn't use it. Just the ordinary HDR - 3 photos. I got up on a step stool to do this cleaning!

@grammyn See my reply to Beryl above. One has to wait until one is ready to tackle odd chores. Can't hurry the process!

A picture perfect day with lovely layers of color. I need to learn how to crop out the wires that always seem to get in the way of my shots.

The bands of color are delightful here. From white to blue to gold and shades of green and finally weighted down with the dark silhouettes. So nice!
