The same place for us and it was good for resting as well as discovering new territory!
Along the foreshore these wild flowers grew, making a great scene across the water to the mountains.
Three good things;
1. A better day with pain and made even more ‘betterer with great comments from 365!
2. New territory to explore.
3. Internet in a wild place!
@maggiemae we drove round that coastline above Gisbourne & round by Tolega Bay & then round to Wakatane once, my word that was a remote part of NZ! We could not find anywhere to stay but managed to find a really grotty hotel which I shall never forget!
Magnificent capture, those wildflowers are so lovely ..looking over the water to those hills. So pleased the pain has eased..I would hang this om my sunroom wall!
What a pretty scene ... what are the flowers .. usually get yellow orange daisy like flowers on the coast ... pleased to hear you are resting up .. sounds like the East Coast is get a bit of rough weather again .. so keep your head down.. Long time since we have been around the East Coast on the List..
@julzmaioro Don't know what the flowers were - only in a small spot by the beach. The pink colour pulled my eye! And yes, moved on now to a place called Matawai halfway to Opotiki but keeping an eye on future weather!
@stray_shooter Thanks Ron - not often I frame shots but this one asked for it! I'm going to save it for the back wall of our lounge and everyone will say....oh wow!
@mv_wolfie I'm glad you appreciated this photo - I was trying to find good ones that I could print out and frame and put in my future conservatory - if it ever gets built! I'm working on it!
