Once more, the connection with a man on a motorbike (not this one) led to a free site on a hill with power and bathroom overlooking the valley.
Three Good Things:
1. Initially wanted to stay in this small harbour village but the prices for camping were outrageous so we moved slightly more inland.
2. This ‘camp’ ..a roadhouse let its sites for free. He had had a barney with the village ones who wanted more custom with higher prices, and said, right…. I”ll charge nothing but power for $5!
3. In spite of another setback in health… I enjoyed the day - particularly a hokey pokey ice-cream!
@grammyn Thank you Katy for your kind concern! I just deal with it as it comes. The good thing is that soon I will be normal - that's not hope, thats a fact (said she!)
Wow, what a story about the roadside camp! I thought of you yesterday - the guy serving me and my pal in a pub at lunchtime had been on his bike and hit something. Fractured several ribs, so he was hanging in there but clearly in pain, still working. Hokey Pokey ice cream sounds like a good cheer up for all your current health woes. Have another!
@grammyn Mmmm,, Katy! Normal, then is without pain. Elsewhere, I don't want to be normal.----Normal is used to describe individual behaviour that conforms to the most common behaviour in society (known as conformity)!
Love this light and composition. I hope you are healing and do feel much better very soon. Hokey pokey ice-cream is a cure-all (according to my husband)
Please don't overdo. I'm concerned about all your setbacks.
