Set off from the West Coast of the North Island and moved east to finally settle under the looming shape of Mt Te Aroha. A pleasant camp with an apple tree right beside our door. Apples for breakfast!
Three Good Things:
1. Not much to photograph here so the van made it for this date.
2. Internet and power here so good for a day's catch up.
3. Still got 3 hours left in my book on kindle.
Seeing your RV makes me want to pack up and get out somewhere in our own. We've recently decided, at our age now, that long trips (like from home in San Diego to visit famiy in Alberta, Canada) is out. Shorter trips, camping, etc. OK..... but we haven't been out in it for months. Have two short trips planned, but they are flying trips, not RVing.
Such a beautiful backdrop for this photo of your van. Apples for breakfast has to be one of your good things too. Perhaps it would've made a nice photo
Like this proper look at your camper, very smart & home from home! You are in my neck of the woods well my NZ neck of the woods. William & Alex who you met live just a few miles south if here although Alex us well settled in South Island now. They can see the pylon thing on top of Mount Te Aroha and she is from their houses.
@maggiemae A great look out Post hale way up but must admit I only go there to eat & drink coffee these days! Eldest son & wife are very partial to going there in the summer.
