The long shadows of the trees in low morning light created horizontal lines on the lawn.
Three good things:
1. We did wake up late but our porridge arrived soon after! This dish is made in the microwave on a very low energy rating - “2” on ours. For 20 mins. We do use heavy duty oats and not ‘3 minute oats”
2. I now put sliced banana on this - extra potassium for your diet…. and yoghurt … - for the digestion!
3. John went wild with the hedge cutter and disappeared into dark and unknown places in our property! I sense there is going to be a lot of gathering up going on which means bending… ooh!
Funny to think we have parked on this drive, seems so long ago! Good to see where you've oarked the camper. The sun on that shrub at the bottom is pretty. Porridge is the tops in the morning!
@happypat Watching Wimbledon live at the moment! What a game! Very proud of where we built the parking place for the van! But the birds are messing the top!
Terrific focus, dof…#1 I have a huge bowl of oatmeal every morning with a dollop of cashew nut butter and a sprinkle of brown sugar...great way to start the day.
I like the focus in this one! Cool processing! When my husband goes out to do some pruning, I call him The Butcher...he takes too much off, doesn't prune correctly and just takes the electric cutter/saw to everything in his path! :(
I do love the morning light and the shadows it casts. Pretty shot- so green! I have an oatmeal recipe I make overnight in the crockpot. It's a wintery morning breakfast favorite here.
Thanks for sharing. Enjoy John. At this stage I wish I had somebody to share the holiday with. Yes I do enjoy the kids and the holiday. But just that somebody to share a story with.
