Every photo I try, I really learn something. Whether I remember it or not is another matter!
This was a 10 sec selfie but I couldn’t organise good focus with me 2 metres out, as I was pressing the button half way to focus. I think I have to use ‘focus lock’ for this?
Three good things:
1. My hair is all over the place but it hides my wrinkles.
2. Our lounge in the afternoon sun looks rather nice.
3. Red cod is much cheaper than blue cod here! And I think just as good! Both ‘bottom feeders.....that's sea bottom!
This is very good - how one earth did you hold that pose for 10 seconds? Well done. And your hair is looking quite long and not at all over the place. It is looking so shiny too just like that sunshine.
Love,y to see your sitting room again, it's as love,y as I remember! How smooth you got this photo, not sure smooth is the word to use but it's so bright & clear & not one little bit of noise! Great pose I have no idea how you could press shutter to focus when you aren't bu the camera! Perhaps a trigger lead with a button? A fave for me maggie!
Ps I see the chair I sat in!
@happypat I pressed the shutter than stepped back into that position within 10 secs! I think it was just lucky it focused! I wonder if I could do a remote shutter release! Have to have the right remote!
Nice to see you ‘IRL’ so to speak. Strikes me I’ve never tried autofocus pressing the remote buttom halfway down. Does that work? I don’t think my wireless remote supports that, only the wired one...
A wonderful selfie and great to see what you look like, which is stunning! Your profile pic does not do you any justice ;-) Love your lounge too. I have to fav this.
Nice comfy lounge... and great you get the afternoon sun .. our does as well so nice this time of year.. Love blue cod .. never had red cod .. have to look out for it ..
Nice to see you here. I take my selfies the same way - I have no idea how any of them come out focussed. I think you are supposed to use manual focus, and then fix it - but I cant for the life of me work out how that works on my camera.
I think you done good on this
Ps I see the chair I sat in!
I sit corrected… :-)
