Sheepish by maggiemae

Sheepish

In the middle of this shot you see the absolute devotion to drink from Mama Sheep even though he’s almost as heavy as she is! What Mama’s have to do!
This is across the road and the adolescent lambs are doing so well with the green field!
Three good things:
1. Helped John put a wooden edging by our daffodil display to replace a rotten one!
2. Chocolates for half time in the rugby television. There just happened to be four games!
3. Reading a new book by Bill Bryson… ‘more notes from a small island” UK, of course. Hilarious!
It does look well time for those lambs to be shifted to a different paddock away from their Mums.. and tails docked .. they look very well grown.

The sheep all appear in this paddock with their lambs at this time - don't know who owns them but they would have been early lambs @julzmaioro

These sheep look very well grown.
Love your #3. I enjoyed reading Bill Bryson's books 'At home; a short history of private life' and 'A short history of nearly everything'.

Think most of the lambs over here are separated quite early on - she's very patient to put up with it!

@brennieb For a lamb that size, there is plenty of grass around to eat. She/he is just a Mummy's boy!

@happypat Its interesting - these sheep suddenly appear in this field opposite us then suddenly disappear!
September 2nd, 2018
@maggiemae Just eating the grass off perhaps! Perhaps they give them all a good gorge on a fresh field of grass then off to market! 😫
