On The Deck At The Docks by mamabec

On The Deck At The Docks

Almost every Sunday morning we go out to breakfast with a small group of people we attend church with and also meet with each Thursday evening. We call ourselves the Motley Crew because that's just what we are ... and a bit rebellious. Our ages range from 50 to nearly 90. Breakfast was out on the deck this morning because it was so beautiful - I had scrambled eggs with warm corn tortillias and Tapitio sauce ... in the sunshine, along the river ... it finally feels like summer.
Beautiful! Sounds like a good morning

Thank you both very much. I am so ready to learn more! I want to. Move from taking pictures to creating images. I do love how this project is journaling a year of my life but I want my photographic skills to grow in the process.

Great shot of the decayed pilings. The reflections you captured really add to the depth of this shot. Nicely done.

this shot makes me feel peaceful and hopeful...peaceful because the ocean always calms me...but whenever I see worn, broken, aged things still standing among the elements it reminds me to be hopeful. I will still stand until I can't. Lovely.
