Whatever works when the power goes out! The winter storm we are having is one of our more ferocious ones. I would guess the winds gusts to be closer to 65 MPH than the 50 MPH predicted. The power was out for a little over an hour, but we still had light - some from batteries and some from fire. Once the power came back on I decided I better upload now incase the power goes out again. Times like these I wish I lived right on the ocean, rather than two miles inland. Regardless, we hear the ocean like it right outside our door.
Lovely light. We had power out for about an hour too. got out the head lamps. I'm surprised we have internet back on...that often takes a day or more with our server. Thanks for your support today. By the way, my camera crashed. I am so bummed.
My friends lost power on Christmas Day in North Seattle. (Good thing they were coming to my home for dinner!) Glad you were not in the dark for long. Stay safe...
