North Fork of the Siuslaw River

This is a really beautiful stretch of river and I like the evidence of renewable resources. The trees on the far hill are all at different stages of growth, depending on when they were planted. Oregon does a fair amount of clear-cutting, however, new trees are planted and they grow quite fast (at least I think so). I also love the evidence of old docks that must have been in this area - there are a lot of pilings here. I drive by this every day.
Love your eye! Have canoed this area a few times - one of my favorites water sites!
