It's a happy day! My DIL Marianne (@luckygirl) came home from the hospital today! This is my husband and his sister who are equally excited about the news. Marianne has lots of recovery ahead of her but the virus that got her really weakened her. She is a determined woman and will be hard to hold down at some point. We will be heading back home to Oregon in the morning much happier than when we arrived in the Seattle area.
This photo is also to honor my husband and our oldest son who both are veterans. I'm grateful for their service! Thank you to all who served.

So grateful @luckygirl is continuing to recover ... and it's good to sleep in our own bed again.
I just read your thread and so glad Marianne is home and on the road to recovery. Faith is all we have at this time of crisis. I am so glad to hear of her improvement.
