The Queen Sleeps by marilyn

The Queen Sleeps

Playing with the distance/focus/framing... I was very tempted to crop this to get rid of the dust showing on the rungs, but forced myself to leave it because I did crop the other dslr shot to show off our "lovely" angel tree topper. Still working on the framing so I am trying not to edit, especially crop, this week.
Great job and no one would have noticed the dust if you had kept still!

@debsphotos @boycotting @djl Thanks... and all cats are queens aren't they? Have you not heard the expression "Dogs have masters, cats have staff!"

@djl Besides... Maggie is the Princess! :)

Very nice! Can't even see the dust and I like the framing because I can see little hints of the tree and blankets.

@wannabe Thank you so much... especially for not seeing the dust! One of my favorite sayings is "Dust is a protective covering for your furniture!" And when you think about it, it totally makes sense... I mean every time you dust you are scratching your furniture with those dust particles, so the less you dust, the better it is for your furniture! :)

Hmmm...I like the way you think!

@cimes1 Thanks... Can't see too much of the decor there, but the rose and gray afghan was crocheted by my Grandma many years ago... I feel so lucky to have it and even more lucky that it goes perfectly with my decor!
