Snow? No! by marilyn

Snow? No!

Shot this on the way to work this morning and was hoping the "flakes" would show better. :( The big tree by the creek is a cottonwood tree and the "snow" is actually the annoying cotton blowing off the tree.
I actually tried editing to see if it would help make the blowing cotton tufts stand out more, but it didn't so I just went with the wysiwyg (what you shoot is what you get) version! :) My apologies to Larry Sinclair who coined the phrase "what you see is what you get" to express the idea that what the user sees on the screen is what the user gets on the printer while using the "page layout system." ~ From Wikipedia
Glad you are not dealing with the cold white stuff...you got me for a minute there.

Tighter crop w/ high-contrast B&W, maybe? Anyway, we have those cottonwoods here, too, and it can really get nuts in late Spring with those things.

I was totally bummed for you for a moment! NOTHING would surprise me this year~! Cottonwood snow can be almost as bad and IT doesn't melt!

Last year, we tried to paint the shed when the trees were 'snowing'... Not a great idea! I love the picture, maybe next time the snow will be more visible.

I too was like what SNOW? Again?
I'm glad it's just that annoying cottonwood stuff! I can see a bit of it in this picture though.
