Family Favorites

No, butter is not a family favorite food, but it is a key ingredient in a couple of Wigen family holiday favorites... butterscotch candy and lefse.
Marvin's makes butterscotch using his mother's hand-written and butter-smeared recipe card... this special treat is in hot demand by both friends and family during the holidays.
Lefse is a traditional Norwegian flatbread... the Wigen family makes flour lefse (as opposed to potato lefse) spread with a butter and sugar mixture, then folded and cut into easily hand-held pieces.
Stay tuned because I plan to post photos of these two items later in the month... :)

Awesome processing lends itself to the fact that it is old family recipes you are using! Fav for that and the matching frame!
