HDR Toning - Photoshop Option (filler) by marlboromaam

HDR Toning - Photoshop Option (filler)

Took a few pics today but, none were suitable for upload. So, pulled out some older ones with a little Photoshop option potential... I confess! I ran this through the HDR toning option under "adjustments" and pushed the "strength" to the max just to see what it would look like... I liked it! LOL! But it's not going to win any contest. Just play! Best appreciated with magnification!
Beautiful!! Great processing

Oooh I like it too....nothing wrong with pushing Photoshop to the max every once in a while :D I like all the highlights- they look silver- very nice!

I like it. All those balls and silver branches stand out so well against the brilliant blue sky
January 10th, 2012
This looks great! Sometimes Photoshop can give you a fresh perspective on an older photo. Nothing wrong with that. Like how you captured hundreds of those little balls in this shot.

Maggie, i took your advice and viewed through the magnifier.

I liked what I saw . Your Photoshop technique has given the image an almost 3D effect :) ....yes those 'spheres' look like they are flying out of the screen

@marlboromaam Maggie, lol, it's good that I can make you chuckle ....the web community can be a good place ....here I am thousands of miles away...sat in my lounge, updating my 365 , posting a few comments and making a lady smile (nice smile btw) on the other side of the world :) ..who'd have thought we could do that a few years ago !!

I always look out for your comments on my pics :). You are a good buddy (hey I slipped into American speak then !!)

January 11th, 2012
Wow! On enlarged that's a whole lot of sweet-gum balls! Never seen them "pop" like this before. Real great job on the photoshop, Maggie. Hope that you enjoyed playing around with it. My brain wouldn't even begin to wrap around that sort of processing right now. Wonderfull job, my friend. :)
January 11th, 2012
@karenann Thank you, Karen! It's sometimes fun to see what you can do to enhance a photo. You're brain would so wrap around it. One thing at a time, one step at a time, like your camera. It's just a process like getting out of bed, brushing your teeth, getting dressed and going to work. Just steps with options. That's all. =)
January 11th, 2012
You're so right, Maggie. I guess that I'm only up to one challenge at a time these days. My option lately has been to take the "easy way out!" But you can't keep doing that or you come to a stand still. I just keep plugging away . .
January 11th, 2012
lol, I love when I like a picture "enough" but not so much that I'm afraid to toss it thru the works and see what happens.. I like the colors you got and the sweet gum trees are always such great subjects..
January 11th, 2012
@buggus Oleta, I have tons of those kinds of pics! LOL! Thank you for your thoughtful and sweet comments!
January 11th, 2012

It has an abstract quality to it :-) Nice!
